{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d6ccd40d4e16f7fc35cd46db","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d6ccd40d4e16f7fc35cd46db","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d6ccd40d4e16f7fc35cd46db","title":"Maintenance/Machine Operator","description":"Maintenance Mechanic\nJob Summary:\nThe Maintenance Mechanic will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and electrical systems in the production plant.\nDuties / Responsibilities:\nPerform repairs and maintenance as necessary to keep production at target efficiencies.\nDismantle defective machines and equipment to install new or repaired parts.\nTroubleshoot electrical issues and repair production and plant equipment.\nWork with production supervisors/ leads on continuous improvement initiatives to solve problems on all equipment.\nAssemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.\nImplement projects for line improvements.\nElectrical conduit bonding and installation.\nVisually inspect and test machinery and equipment.\nListen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.\nRequired Skills / Abilities:\n3+ years of experience performing the following:\nPreventative maintenance, repair, and adjustment of material handling and extrusion machines.\nMaintenance experience in a food production environment.\nTechnical knowledge of production-related equipment.\nAbility to read blueprints and technical manuals (mechanical and electrical).\nKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.\nAbility to fabricate parts a plus.\nKnowledge of machinist's measuring tools a plus.\nMotor drive and PLC experience are a plus.\nKnowledge of refrigeration is a plus.\nAble to lift, move and carry up to 50 lbs.\nHigh School diploma, GED, vocational school, or related experience\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $20.00 -
