In this role, you will design and build robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications, contributing to both front-end user experience and the back-end systems that power the platform. Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will work closely with developers, product management, and business stakeholders in a team-oriented environment.\nExamples of Work This Role May Include\nIntegrating user payment functionality and developing dashboards that manage personal and private user data\nBuilding automated workflows using custom LLMs to analyze and review customer data\nWorking with external APIs to develop a marketplace where entrepreneurs can sell or market products directly on the platform, including observability and system health monitoring\nDesigning and maintaining messaging systems between business owners and internal administrators\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with development and product teams to ideate and implement software solutions\nDesign and develop client-side and server-side architecture\nBuild responsive, visually appealing front-end applications\nDevelop mobile-friendly features and applications\nBuild, manage, and maintain well-functioning databases and effective APIs\nTest software to ensure responsiveness, reliability, and efficiency\nTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications as needed\nMaintain strong security and data protection standards across applications\nPrepare and maintain clear and accurate technical documentation\nRequired Qualifications\nProven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role\nExperience developing device-responsive web applications\nExtensive knowledge of React and JavaScript (experience with React Router and/or Next.js is a plus)\nStrong design mindset with solid knowledge of CSS (experience with Sass is a bonus)\nFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform and serverless computing environments\nWorking knowledge of back-end languages including Python and Node.js\nExperience with MongoDB or other non-relational databases\nFamiliarity with integrating emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and agentic systems\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills\nStrong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills\nMinimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer\nEqual Employment Opportunity & ADA Statement\nUSBC Community Economic Development Corporation (USBC CEDC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
