The Club hosts weddings, golf outings, corporate meetings, and member events throughout the year, providing a high-quality hospitality experience in a premier setting. Position Overview Midvale is seeking an Event Sales & Events Manager to lead event sales, planning, and execution for weddings, corporate events, golf tournaments, and private functions. This role is responsible for the full event lifecycle, including venue sales, client relationship management, event planning, and on-site coordination. The position works closely with the golf operations team and food and beverage team to deliver seamless, high-quality events. This is an on-site role that requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the event sales process, including lead generation, client inquiries, tours, proposals, and contract executionCoordinate and execute weddings, corporate events, golf outings, and private eventsBuild and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referralsUse Tripleseat event management software to track inquiries, bookings, and event detailsLead weekly Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings with internal teamsCollaborate with Food & Beverage, culinary, and golf operations teams to ensure seamless event executionOversee event timelines, setup, and on-site coordinationDevelop and implement club social events and member programmingTrack event revenue, expenses, and commissionsEnsure all events meet the Club's hospitality and service standards QualificationsExperience in event sales, event planning, hospitality management, or venue coordinationStrong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environmentExperience with event management or CRM software (Tripleseat or similar preferred)Excellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekendsExperience in a private club, golf course, hotel, or event venue preferred Compensation & BenefitsBase salary of $62,000 plus commissionPaid time offGolf privileges and employee mealsProfessional development opportunities within the club and hospitality industry Keywords: event manager, event coordinator, wedding coordinator, event sales manager, banquet manager, hospitality manager, venue sales, private events, corporate events
