As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.\nJob responsibilities\nUnderstand current systems and participate in analysis of technical and business requirements.\nDevelop cloud-native, microservices-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.\nApply best practices for scalable, maintainable, and secure software development.\nImplement event-driven systems and real-time data processing with Apache Kafka.\nWork with PostgreSQL for database development, queries, and data integrity.\nDevelop responsive, accessible, high-performance UIs with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.\nEnsure seamless integration between front-end and backend APIs, prioritizing security and user experience.\nBuild reusable components, implement state management (Redux, Context API), and optimize performance.\nParticipate in and support testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.\nFollow SDLC processes, including code reviews, documentation, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines (Spinnaker, Jenkins, GitLab).\nImplement monitoring and logging with Splunk and other observability tools.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal degree or certification in computer science / software engineering and 5+ years applied experience.\nHands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native deployments (AWS ECS, Kubernetes).\nProficiency in front-end development with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and state management libraries.\nExperience delivering large-scale, mission-critical systems.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools (Spinnaker, Jenkins, GitLab).\nExperience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).\nKnowledge of secure coding, compliance, and operational best practices in financial services.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.\nExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience supporting testing and participating in SDLC processes.\nStrong documentation and knowledge sharing skills.\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nExperience in financial services or highly regulated environments.\nExposure to additional AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS).\nFamiliarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).\nExperience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, JUnit).\nKnowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization.\nExposure to AI/ML concepts or tools is a plus\nABOUT US\n\nJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
