{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d6bae6403e91c36b5cd9cae0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d6bae6403e91c36b5cd9cae0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d6bae6403e91c36b5cd9cae0","title":"Adjunct Instructor - Exercise Science (Pool)","description":"Title: Adjunct Instructor – Exercise Science (Pool)\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThis position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in Exercise Science.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nTeach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web‑enhanced delivery modes as assigned.\n\nWork with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.\n\nUtilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students.\n\nSubmit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class.\n\nRegularly check College email account and department mailbox.\n\nRespond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.\n\nComplete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines.\n\nSubmit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.\n\nComply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree\n\nFive years’ workforce experience in teaching or coaching activity\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nCertification in course content\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\n\nKnowledge of and/or experience with a variety of instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse student, faculty and staff population.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications.\n\nRate of Pay: $650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour\n\nSpecial Instructions to Applicants: Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the application process. Official transcripts will be required upon hire. Applicants may be subject to a background check.\n\nAVAILABILITY / CLOSING DATE: This posting is not a guarantee of an open position.
