This role will also continually review the historical and on-going accuracy and integrity of the data and reports generated from our systems.\nThis is an experienced level position with opportunity for potential advancement into further development roles within the firm. You will report to the Director of Development and work to build a variety of types of applications for our firm.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in the design and development of stored procedures and database queries to generate data for reports and dashboards.\nSupport the development of automation tools and backend processes using C# or Python.\nHelp build and maintain web services and APIs for internal and external applications.\nCollaborate with senior developers and analysts to understand business needs and deliver effective technical solutions.\nParticipate in source control workflows using Git and project tracking through Azure DevOps.\nContribute to the maintenance and evolution of CI/CD pipelines, including testing, builds, and deployment steps.\nPerform basic debugging and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior team members.\nParticipate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile ceremonies.\nMinimum Requirements:\n1–2 years of experience with C# or Python in a professional or internship setting.\nBasic experience writing and maintaining SQL queries or stored procedures.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs and how to interact with them.\nExposure to Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools for version control and project management.\nBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software development best practices.\nStrong willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow technical skills.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCoursework or hands-on experience with web service development or automation scripting.\nExposure to Azure cloud services or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).\nFamiliarity with reporting or BI tools such as Power BI or SSRS.\nUnderstanding of agile development and software delivery practices.\nNice to Haves:\nFamiliarity with Collection Master software\nExperience in the litigation or collections industry\nExperience with generating AI prompts and implementing AI solutions\nReact or other front-end web languages\nBenefits:\nBlitt and Gaines, P.C. offers PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical Benefits, Competitive Salary and 401k and profit sharing plans!
