Production Operator
SummaryThese roles prepare and produce our adhesive products, everything from making the boxes to working with our formulas blending and mixing raw materials to produce the adhesives.Open Positions for - 2nd and 3rd shift- Hotmelt department plus shift differential payESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Weighs quantities of materials for use in the manufacturing processes.Places loose or packaged material on scales and adds or removes portions of material to obtain specified weight.Reads work order or formula to determine types and quantities of materials to weigh and procedure to be followed for manufacturing process.Records weight of materials used for production records, and maintains perpetual inventory of materials used and on hand by recording and marking drums.Dumps materials in prescribed sequence into vat, hopper or mixing pot.Monitor and log time and temperature as specified on Batch ticket.Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.Transfers weighed materials to production or storage areas.Records information such as weight, type of product, date and batch number of products produced.Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of manufacturing process.Trains in different roles on the production line from beginning to end.Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
