There are three positions available: one in Nebraska, one in Iowa, and one in Minnesota.\n\nThis position will be remote, supporting customers through central and western Nebraska. Frequent travel can be expected in this position: 20% of overnight travel within the Midwest.\n\nResponsibilities\nBasic PLC and HMI code development primarily for municipal water and wastewater SCADA systems.\nProvide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches\nSupport diagnosis of errors or technical problems and help determine proper solutions\nProduce timely and detailed service reports\nComprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings\nAssist with control system commissioning including instrumentation and motor control devices.\nWork with senior level Programming Engineer to learn and develop programming skills.\nAssist with communications network commissioning including fiber optic, radio telemetry, broadband, and other associated technologies.\nComplete project documentation per company standards and project specific requirements.\nCommunicate with customers throughout the design and construction phases as well as for aftermarket support.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or 2-year Associates degree in Automation related field. Preferred but not required.\nSome experience and/or interest in electrical components preferably in some of the following:\nPLC programming such as Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500 and 5000, Modicon, Siemens S7, GE PAC systems or the like.\nHMI programming such as Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, Cimplicity, Intellution or similar.\nInformation Technology experience is a plus.\n\nIf you are looking to advance your career as an Automation Controls Programmer (PLC/HMI), look no further!
