And we’ve been making “miracles happen on the hill” for 25 years.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience in light maintenance and landscaping. EPA and HVAC certifications preferred but not required.\nIn order to complete the essential functions of this position the employee must be able to do the following with or without accommodations.\nMust be able to:\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions\nRead and understand written and oral instructions\nCommunicate effectively in both written and verbal communications\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure\nManage time effectively to meet deadlines and objectives\nPerform duties using safety concepts, equipment, proper body mechanics, and instructions. Demonstrate knowledge of safe use of hazardous materials related to assignments\nWork independently without close supervision at times\nSolve routine or non-complex problems effectively\nMaintain confidential information\nPhysical Requirements:\nWork is physically demanding.\nMust be able to:\nLift/Carry up to 50 lbs frequently\nSafely operate a motorized vehicle\nWalk up to 500 feet, walk up hills and over irregular terrain\nBend/Stoop frequently\nClimb a ladder\nDemonstrate mechanical aptitude\nPerform basic mathematical functions\nSafely handle and operate various hand and power tools\nJob related certification a plus\nPerforms basic landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, tree trimming, removing limbs, planting flowers and other living nursery items, and watering grass, flowers, shrubs and trees.\nApplies paint to walls, fences, decks, and other surfaces.\nConstructs or repairs walls, ceilings, roofs, floors, or other structures.\nPerforms light plumbing such as repairing leaky faucets and unstopping clogged toilets and drains.\nRemoves snow, ice, and other debris from sidewalks, parking lots, and driveway for safety reasons.\nAssists with kitchen duties as needed, washing dishes, stocking, breaking down truck delivery and cleaning.\nReplaces light bulbs and ballast as needed.\nDisposes of trash and debris as needed to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.\nAssembles and moves furniture and other office items as needed.\nMaintains pool and pool area. Conducts a basic pool testing and maintaining a log. Monthly water will be delivered to an outside provider for testing, wash sand filter, and clean area around pool.\nPerforms preventative maintenance on sewage plant system, maintain daily log, changing belts, applying grease to appropriate parts, checking bearings, and cleaning /organizing area.
