This position is contingent on contract win.\n\nThis person engineers data pipelines, models, quality controls, and analytics capabilities that transform customer operational, development, security, and assessment data into reliable information for automation, monitoring, and decision support.\n\nThis is a remote position.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nIdentify authoritative data sources and define ingestion, transformation, storage, access, retention, and quality requirements.\nDevelop automated data pipelines and reusable data services supporting workflow, security, ATO, and operational automation.\nDesign data models, schemas, mappings, validation rules, lineage, metadata, and data-quality controls.\nCreate analytics datasets, metrics, dashboards, and reporting components that expose status, trends, exceptions, and decision-support information.\nIntegrate data capabilities with APIs, customer repositories, approved cloud services, and DevSecOps workflows.\nApply access controls, logging, encryption, and other security requirements to data solutions in collaboration with security personnel.\nAutomate testing and monitoring of data pipelines and document designs, dependencies, operating procedures, and data definitions.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience.\nExperience developing data pipelines, transformations, models, analytics, or reporting capabilities in enterprise or cloud environments.\nProficiency with SQL and at least one programming/scripting language used for data engineering.\nExperience with data quality, lineage, access controls, automated testing, and integration with APIs or operational systems.\nAbility to obtain a 6c Public Trust. At least an active Secret clearance is highly preferred.\nU.S. Citizenship is required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nAWS data services\nPython\nSQL\nETL/ELT frameworks\nData modeling and lineage\nDashboards/analytics tools\nGitLab CI/CD\nAPI-based data integration\n\nCompensation:\n\nSalary Range: TBD\n\nThe SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only.
