This is a unique opportunity to build and lead our security program from the ground up, including the design, accreditation, and stand-up of a new SCIF, while establishing the foundation for our future enterprise security team.\nThe selected candidate will play a critical leadership role in shaping security operations at Mod2Analytics—developing processes, ensuring compliance across DoD, SAP, security, and insider threat programs under a single integrated security vision.\nKey Responsibilities\nSCIF Development & Security Program Leadership\n· Lead the end-to-end development of a new SCIF, partnering with contractors, government stakeholders, and accrediting authorities.\n· Serve as the primary security POC for all SCIF build activities, including documentation, approvals, inspections, and accreditation (ICD 705).\n· Establish and implement the baseline security framework that will scale into Mod2Analytics future enterprise security organization.\n· Develop policies, procedures, and best practices to support long-term growth of the security team.\nInformation Systems Security (ISSO Functions)\n· Oversee day-to-day information system security operations, including hardware, software, and network implementations.\n· Execute and maintain system compliance under the Risk Management Framework (RMF).\n· Support the authorization lifecycle (ATO process), including documentation, assessments, and continuous monitoring.\n· Manage data transfer processes as the primary POC.\n· Maintain and track compliance activities, including POA&M management.\nCybersecurity & System Compliance\n· Assist with CMMC accreditation and maintenance.\n· Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with approved security plans.\n· Manage configuration control (CM) for all security-relevant system components.\n· Maintain complete and accurate security documentation accessible to authorized personnel.\n· Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of systems, networks, and infrastructure.\nAudit, Risk, and Incident Management\n· Participate in and support security audits, inspections, and assessments.\n· Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis.\n· Investigate and report security incidents in coordination with leadership and program stakeholders.\n· Ensure appropriate remediation actions are implemented.\nSecurity Program Execution\n· Develop, implement, and enforce a formal Information Security Program.\n· Provide security education and awareness training.\n· Support continuous monitoring activities and travel as needed to meet mission requirements.\n· Serve as the organization's Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), ensuring compliance with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and applicable contractual security obligations including a compliant Insider Threat Program.\n· Maintain the company's Facility Clearance (FCL) requirements and support facility security compliance activities associated with classified contracts and programs.\n· Administer personnel security functions including clearance processing, indoctrinations, debriefings, visit certifications, access management, and related security records.\n· Maintain security policies, procedures, Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), and internal controls supporting classified operations and industrial security compliance.\n· Conduct security self-inspections, compliance reviews, vulnerability assessments, and corrective action activities.\n· Coordinate insider threat activities across leadership, HR, IT, and security stakeholders.\n· Support DCSA Security Reviews, customer inspections, and other government compliance assessments.\nBasic Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI (within last 5 years) with ability to obtain a Polygraph.\nDoD 8570/8140 IAM Level I (or higher) certification.\nIn depth knowledge of ICD 705 and TEMPEST requirements.\n10+ years of experience in ISSO, ISSE, ISSM, CPSO, FSO, or similar security leadership roles.\nStrong knowledge of operating system security and enterprise environments.\nHands-on experience with RMF and ATO processes.\nWorking knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), DCSA security requirements, and industrial security compliance programs.\nExperience administering or supporting personnel security, facility security, and classified contract security requirements.\nExperience interacting with government security representatives and supporting compliance inspections or security reviews.\nAbility to serve as FSO and ITPSO within a cleared contractor environment.\nDesired Skills\nDirect experience leading or supporting new SCIF construction and accreditation (ICD 705/TEMPEST).\nExperience with ICD 503 / JSIG requirements.\nBackground supporting IC and/or DoD programs.\nExperience implementing multi-classification systems in complex environments.\nFamiliarity with tools such as eMASS, Xacta, or ServiceNow.\nStrong understanding of network and system infrastructure.\nExperience serving as the FSO within a cleared contractor environment.\nExperience establishing or administering an Insider Threat Program.\nFamiliarity with DISS, NISS, NBIS, or related government security systems.\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase Salary:
