The Program Supervisor oversees winter programming, including daily lessons, camps, special programs, and military sports. This position coordinates lesson assignments, supervises and trains interns, staff, and volunteer instructors, and helps ensure a safe, effective, and fun experience for athletes with disabilities.\n\nWe are looking for a friendly, professional individual with strong communication skills, effective time management, and excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate is adaptable, focused, and enjoys supporting others in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nCoordinate operational management of adaptive lessons, including lesson assignments, confirmations, bookings, and schedule changes.\n\nMonitor safety considerations and help mitigate safety-related issues involving on-hill lessons and program facilities.\n\nOrganize daily morning clinics, including assigning trainers, coordinating groups, and identifying clinic topics.\n\nTeach adaptive lessons and provide training and support to staff instructors and volunteers.\n\nDeliver exceptional customer service to athletes, families, volunteers, donors, and guests.\n\nCommunicate clearly, directly, and compassionately with participants, families, staff, and volunteers.\n\nOversee the upkeep of Access Mammoth facilities and equipment, ensuring adaptive equipment remains safe, organized, and operational.\n\nServe as a role model for adaptive instruction, professionalism, and guest service.\n\nProvide guidance to instructors and volunteers regarding lesson planning, athlete adaptations, instructional techniques, and professional development.\n\nWelcome guests and provide assistance and information as needed.\n\nSupport other Access Mammoth staff with operational and program needs.\n\nKnowledge & Skills\n\nCommitment to Access Mammoth’s mission and values.\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and guest service skills.\n\nSelf-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.\n\nExpert-level problem-solving abilities.\n\nAbility to ski and/or snowboard at an expert level and safely lead others in a variety of terrain and conditions.\n\nEducation & Experience\nRequired:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nExperience in guest service, communication, and problem-solving.\n\nPSIA/AASI Level II Instructor Certification or higher.\n\nExperience managing projects, making independent decisions, and achieving objectives.\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office and database management systems.\n\nPreferred:\n\nCollege degree.\n\nAdditional cross-discipline certifications.\n\nSalesforce experience.\n\nVolunteer or nonprofit experience.\n\nExperience working with people with disabilities and their families.\n\nExperience in ski school operations or management.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to sit at a desk for extended periods.\n\nAbility to stand for extended periods.\n\nAbility to lift and move a minimum of 60 pounds while wearing winter gear.\n\nAbility to work outdoors for extended periods in winter mountain conditions, including severe weather.\n\nAbout Access Mammoth\nAccess Mammoth creates inclusive outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities through adaptive sports and recreation programs.
