DPP is seeking a Configuration Analyst for an opportunity with our client in the Defense & Space Manufacturing industry.Work location: Onsite in Redondo Beach, CADuration : 12 monthsTerm : W2 positionWork authorization : Candidates must have an Active TS US security clearance with an SSBI completed within the past two years.Position summary:The Configuration Data Management (CDM) Analyst will support the Program & Configuration Control (PCC) department. As a member of the Intelligence & Sensing Division (IDS) / PCC department you'll join a team of qualified, diverse individuals.This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA as a fully onsite role.Responsibilities:Identification:Assign and control program hardware/software data identification control numbers per program & Functional Home Room (FHR) mandatesEnforce & assign part & serial number requirementsChange ManagementPerform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activitiesEstablish agendas, publish minutes & track meeting actionsProcess change packages through lifecycle include disposition & documentation/hardware implementationPerform program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Mgmt. toolsConfiguration Status AccountingDevelopment & maintain various CDM reports for program support. Examples: Configured Item Identification List, Engineering Change Request status, CDM performance metricsVerification & AuditsSupport internal program CDM audits against program SOW & Functional Command Media mandatesProvide aid to Functional Configuration Audits & perform Physical Configuration AuditDocument Management for deliverable CDRLs and non-CDRL documentsEducation/equivalency:9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degreeOR, Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experienceOR, Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experienceOR, PhD with 1+ year(s) of relevant experienceAND, Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:Large-scale cross functional project team experienceExperience using TeamCenter, CPLM PLM tool, and EnoviaClearance qualifications:Candidate has an active SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 2 years, at time of application, and prior to start dateOR, Candidate has an active DOD Top Secret security clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 2 years, at time of application, and prior to start date as well as the ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.Continued employment thereafter will be subject to the candidate's maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.Interested?
