They support warehouse operations by managing stock, fulfilling shop floor requests, and moving pallets of raw materials and finished goods.\n\nThird Shift runs Monday through Friday, 10:45PM-7:15AM\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nUnload incoming raw materials from delivery trucks safely and efficiently, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage in accordance with company standards.\nInspect containers to verify they are free from damage or defects.\nSafely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and powered conveyors to move goods throughout both storage and operating zones.\nPackage products in accordance with established procedures and specifications.\nTransport completed packages to designated loading areas using approved power industrial equipment.\nPromptly report safety, quality, productivity, or personnel concerns to the Team Leader.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nThe minimum education required for this position is a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).\nMust be able to operate a sit-down tow motor, electric pallets jack and a manual pallet jack.\nCurrent or prior forklift certification is preferred.\n\nKey Competencies\nCommunication Skills\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions & procedure manuals.\nAbility to read and follow work instructions and documentation.\nAbility to communicate clearly with team members and leadership when issues arise.\n\nMathematical Skills\nDemonstrate proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.\nAbility to count inventory, verify labels, and understand part numbers.\n\nComputer Skills\nComfortable using scanning devices and basic digital platforms for inventory movement.\n\nAdditional Preferred Skills and Qualifications\nStrong attention to detail and safety.\nAbility to adapt to fast-paced and high-pressure environments.\n\nPhysical Demands\nStand, walk, carry, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use manual dexterity\nGrasp, reach, and lift/move up to 10 pounds regularly; 25 pounds frequently; 50 pounds occasionally\nClimb, sit for long periods, and speak/articulate occasionally\nMandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE)\n\nWork Environment\nMaterial Handlers are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and frequently encounter fumes or airborne particles. While the manufacturing area is climate controlled, employees may experience relatively warm or cold temperatures throughout the year.
