The position requires the candidate to work using guidance from his supervisor.\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:\nProgramming multi-threaded, cross-platform Geospatial Information System (GIS) applications using the Java programming language and JavaFX.\nCreate software documentation using JavaDoc and other documentation tools as specified.\nImplement and integrate various GIS capabilities using NASA World Wind and OGC standards such as WMS, GeoPackage and WMTS. This includes 2-D and 3-D mapping.\nDevelop test cases, procedures, and Junit methods.\nTrack and help resolve Software Trouble Reports (STR).\nExperience desired is 1-3 years programming. Desired skills includes:\n1. Experience with SVN systems like Git.\n2. Knowledge of Java programming, to include JavaFX\n3. Experience with Web development tools and languages, such as Javascript\n4. Knowledge working in both MS Windows and Linux\n5.
