Technical Brewer

Bring your manufacturing experience to this new role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading beverage manufacturing company in Cold Spring, MN. We are seeking candidates for Technical Brewer roles on the 12-hour day shift 545 am - 6 pm (rotating 2-2-3 schedule) and 12-hour night shift 545 pm - 6 am (rotating 2-2-3 schedule). Compensation for these direct-hire roles is $18.00-$20.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!What you’ll do as a Technical Brewer:Collect samples of product for testing and quality verificationSanitize tanks, lines, heat exchangers, and other equipment, following all appropriate Safety and Quality proceduresStages the beer, especially monitoring critical temperature requirements of the processMonitor product appropriately throughout the processMaintain cleanliness of areas responsible forResponsible for letting the treatment plant know of any unusual sewage loadsResponsible for the kegs, including washing, filling, hauling, and recording productionPerform all other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor/customerAdhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee HandbookAdhere to and comply with quality production and Food SafetyWhat you need to become a Technical Brewer: Must have at least 1 year of experience in a high-speed production environment in the past 3 yearsAbility to operate a sit-down forkliftVerbal and written communication skills in EnglishWillingness to work around noise, dust, variable temperatures, and use of production chemicalsWillingness to work in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floorsMay be required to work and direct in confined spaces and work with high pressure steamAbility to regularly bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitorsWhy Join?
