Painter

Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and construction painting, with experience in various techniques and applications. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. The Painter will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. Duties - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. - Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. - Perform caulking and fixture installation as part of the finishing process. - Restore surfaces by repairing damages and applying appropriate materials such as stucco. - Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and carpentry. - Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure timely completion of tasks. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications * Proof of Work Experience with References * Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation * Ability to climb and working from High ladders * Ability to squat, bend, twist and carry equipment; lift 75 lbs. * Ability to walk on tile roofs my be required * Ability to Speak some English. * Great positive can-do attitude, consistent, and responsible. * Ability to follow instruction and work independently and/or with minimal supervision * Maintaining a safe work environment * Professional appearance (Paint Whites) * MINIMUM of 4 years experience painting interior/exterior, residential/commercial * MUST HAVE ability to mask, prep (scrape/sand +), cut in, roll / back-roll and spray (airless sprayer), stucco patch * Attention to detail * All hand tools required for painting Most work in Ventura and Santa Barbra County, but also at times in select areas of Los Angeles County.
