Senior Project Manager, Furniture

Job SummaryManage furniture projects and work orders across assigned region, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional client service. Coordinate redensifications, seat utilizations, decommissions, assessments, and new furniture procurement while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Work Order ManagementManage full lifecycle of furniture projects including redensifications, seat utilizations, re-sets, decommissions, and new furniture procurementMaintain project schedules and budgets with regular updates and accurate trackingCoordinate site logistics and onsite activities for all defined scopes of workManage project closeout activities including O&M package creation, review, and client submissionRespond to client requests within 24 hours, ensuring timely acknowledgment and resolutionInventory & Assessment CoordinationConduct initial inventory intake for existing and new locations within assigned regionPerform comprehensive site assessments after hours (2x/year for hubs, 1x/year for spokes)Prepare and issue assessment reports with proactive recommendations for replacement or repairManage warehouse inventory and coordinate asset deployment across regionsProcess offboarding of decommissioned locations and associated assetsDesign & Documentation CoordinationCollaborate with JLL Designer on final design documentation and as-built updatesProcess approved bills of material for order entry when applicableIssue project status reports following completion of field activitiesMaintain reporting tools including decision logs, approval logs, and project minutesTeam Collaboration & CommunicationParticipate in weekly regional team meetings to review outstanding work orders and active projectsCoordinate with internal team members following established responsibility matrixPartner with JLL Designer and Project Coordinator on project maintenance and closeoutReview assessment schedules quarterly with Program LeadRequired SkillsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, Project Management, or related field preferred4-6 years of project management experience in furniture, interior design, or constructionExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously across diverse locationsTechnical CompetenciesProficiency in project management software and reporting toolsStrong understanding of furniture procurement, installation, and project lifecycle managementKnowledge of inventory management systems and asset trackingAbility to read and interpret design documentation and bills of materialCore CompetenciesExcellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environmentProven problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesClient-focused mindset with commitment to responsive servicePreferred SkillsProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certificationExperience with furniture dealerships and vendor managementKnowledge of facility management and space planning principlesFamiliarity with O&M documentation requirementsExperience working in hospitality, aviation, or corporate environmentsWorking ConditionsProfessional office environment with regular travel to client sites for assessments and project coordination. After-hours site visits required for assessments.
