This role involves managing a team, overseeing employee training, and upholding Paylocity's standards. The Data Conversion Manager collaborates closely with Implementation Managers, providing valuable insights into staff performance, data-related issues, and strategies for departmental enhancement. By working alongside the Director, the Manager contributes to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing tool utilization. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nLead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Data Conversion team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team leaders.\nEmpower Team Leads to effectively develop and motivate their teams, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.\nDrive alignment of tools and processes across Data Conversion teams through well-executed initiatives.\nCollaborate with the Director to develop and implement adjustments for organizational effectiveness.\nInitiate and oversee process improvement projects aimed at boosting operational efficiency and minimizing defects.\nMaintain consistent policies and procedures by partnering with other departments within the organization.\nCoordinate with the Internal Training department to assess and manage employees' training needs and bridge any gaps.\nEnsure up-to-date documentation and tools for Data Conversion and internal training purposes.\nDesign and implement employee motivation programs and incentives to drive engagement.\nAddress disciplinary matters when needed, providing guidance and coaching.\nOffer constructive feedback to employees, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.\nCultivate opportunities for self and team development within the framework of corporate goals and values.\nCollaborate with the Department Director to allocate and manage resources effectively.\nLead the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, fostering strong relationships from day one.\nFoster a positive work environment that encourages open communication, learning, and recognition in line with organizational values.\nDemonstrate flexibility in day-to-day responsibilities, showcasing agility in response to evolving needs.\n\n Education and Experience\n\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 2 years of management experience.\nProficiency in Project Management and/or Change Management.\nExperience with evaluating, implementing, and utilizing ETL tools.\nProcess improvement mindset to the required section as part of a dealbreaker.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nExperience in programming and/or product management.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in Payroll Implementation.\nExcellent proficiency in Access, Excel, and SQL.\nDemonstrated mindset for Process Improvement.\nSix Sigma experience.\nFamiliarity with various payroll applications.\nBackground in team development and workflow processes within a matrix environment.\nPhysical requirements\nAbility to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.\nUse of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type.
