The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities and grading, with a commitment to safety and quality. This role involves operating various heavy equipment on diverse construction projects, including residential and commercial grading, site preparation, utility installation, and demolition.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, excavators, roller compactors, and skid steers for grading and utility projects.\nPerform excavation, trenching, and backfilling for utility installations.\nConduct site preparation and finish grading for residential and commercial developments.\nCollaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.\nMaintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs.\nAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.\nAssist in demolition and land clearing operations as needed.\nQualifications\nMinimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in utilities and grading.\nProficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery, including dozers, backhoes, and excavators.\nStrong understanding of grading techniques and utility installation procedures.\nAbility to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.\nValid CDL (Class A or B) preferred.\nCurrent DOT medical certification required.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nStrong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.\nOSHA 10 preferred\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompetitive hourly wage based on experience.
