This position is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.If you enjoy working with numbers, staying organized, and being part of a professionalteam, we would like to hear from you.Role ResponsibilitiesProcess and verify vendor invoicesMatch invoices with purchase ordersCode invoices to correct accounts and cost centersProcess electronic and check paymentsReconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepanciesAssist with month-end accounting tasksCommunicate with vendors regarding payments and account statusCross-train in Accounts Receivable and other accounting functions to support the finance teamBe willing to learn, grow, and assist in improving processes as the department evolvesPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAccounting coursework, certificate, or degree preferred but not requiredRelevant experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, office administration, or related financial roles will also be strongly considered2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to communicate professionally with vendors and team membersComfortable working with accounting software, spreadsheets (Excel), and digital invoice/payment systems in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in agriculture, warehouse operations, construction, or other fast-paced environments that handle a high volume of invoices and vendor payments is highly valuedWillingness to learn, grow, and take on additional accounting responsibilities over timeWe value people who take pride in accuracy, stay organized, and follow through to make sure things are done rightBenefitsCompetitive hourly pay ($22–$28/hr DOE)Health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days401(k) with 4% company matchPaid time off and holidaysStable full-time position with opportunity for growthCompany DescriptionColumbia Farm Services (CFS) oversees more than 5,500 acres of tree fruit, vineyards, and rowcrops, providing expert management and strategic guidance for permanent and row crop investorsthroughout Central Washington and Oregon.
