{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d604a3e4dfb03ca4c19a42bf","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d604a3e4dfb03ca4c19a42bf","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d604a3e4dfb03ca4c19a42bf","title":"Building Engineer","description":"SUMMARY:\nThe Building Engineer will maintain and repair physical structures of buildings and maintaining grounds by providing general repairs to the facilities as needed.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n· Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facilities equipment and systems.\n· Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.\n· Consults blueprints or building plans to identify best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues.\n· Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.\n· Obtains services of outside contractors when repairs require specialized training.\n· Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.\n· Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.\n· Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.\n· Performs other duties as assigned.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n· None\nQualifications\n· High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
