Job#: 3035507Job Description:Role: IT Program Manager Hybrid in San Antonio, TX (78215) Contract Duration: Long-term engagement (3–5 years) OverviewThis role will lead a portfolio of enterprise infrastructure initiatives, including multi-cloud strategy, network and connectivity modernization, data center transformation, disaster recovery and resiliency programs, and infrastructure automation. The program manager will oversee multiple project managers delivering initiatives across cloud, network, voice, and platform services, with a focus on improving reliability, reducing outages, optimizing cost, and advancing overall infrastructure maturity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex, multi-year infrastructure programs spanning:Multi-cloud environmentsNetwork modernizationData center initiativesInternet and voice servicesOversee major initiatives including:Disaster recovery and failover strategiesInfrastructure automation and process optimizationPlatform modernization and service stability improvementsProvide program-level leadership across multiple concurrent projects, with project managers reporting into this roleAlign all initiatives to a centralized roadmap and strategic objectivesDrive execution across both:Infrastructure platforms (cloud, network, data center)Supporting applications and service layers as neededFacilitate backlog refinement, prioritization, and cross-team coordinationDeliver clear, transparent program reporting on monthly and quarterly outcomesLead and motivate a partially remote teamCommunicate effectively across:Technical engineering teamsBusiness stakeholdersExecutive leadershipEnsure high availability, resiliency, and scalability standards are built into all initiativesPromote continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and delivery excellenceRequired Experience & Qualifications10+ years of overall IT experienceIncluding 5+ years leading infrastructure-focused programsProven experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure programs across:Cloud platforms (multi-cloud environment)Network and connectivity servicesData center operations and modernizationStrong experience leading disaster recovery, failover, and resiliency initiativesExperience managing large, cross-functional programs with multiple PMs reporting into a program structureStrong understanding of:Infrastructure service delivery modelsAutomation and process optimization in infrastructure environmentsExperience working in:Agile and hybrid delivery environmentsOrganizations with mixed Agile and waterfall practicesDemonstrated ability to manage distributed teams and complex stakeholder environmentsExcellent communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills – will be working with C suite and VP level.Tools & CertificationsPMP certification requiredExperience with:MS ProjectPowerPointClarity PPMEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
