As an Electro-Mechanical Tech with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.\nWhy apply?\nCompetitive wages.\nOpportunities for overtime.\nCompany provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, disability, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation, and 401K.\nAbout the Role\nResponsibilities:\nProvide technical expertise needed for timely recovery from equipment outages as well as identifying long term solutions to minimize future outages.\nProvide prompt response to analyze equipment malfunctions as well as coordinate repairs.\nSupport the Contech Plastics Manufacturing to address technical problems that include root cause and analysis, being a liaison between plans and suppliers to identify and resolve equipment issues with long term solutions that are sustainable.\nDevelop and maintain a common technical library of electrical and mechanical drawings, programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) programs, etc. related to the manufacturing equipment located at all locations.\nIdentify timely and cost-effective solutions for replacement of obsolete components.\nManage, maintain and improve remote interface capabilities.\nOther duties assigned.\nAbout You\nWe Require:\nPreferred Education: Associates Degree with focus in Electro-Mechanical Technology/Engineering Technology/Electrical Technology\nRequired minimum education: Post-Secondary\nCombination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree\nMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or similar in a manufacturing environment.\nExcellent electrical and mechanical aptitude.\nProficient in analyzing hard-wired relay control systems as well as modern programmable logic controllers.\nMust be able to safely evaluate alternating current and direct current systems up to 480 volts.\nStrong computer skills.\nHands-on approach to job task to include seeking additional information on the task as required.\nSelf-starter and able to execute job tasks with limited supervision.
