Senior Financial Analyst
Senior Financial AnalystThe Senior Financial Analyst is an important member of the Peterbilt Corporate Accounting team. This position reports to the Warranty Accounting Manager and is responsible for various warranty analyses and monthly liability reserve reconciliations. The position interacts frequently with department managers, Corporate Accounting Controller and may participate in meetings with senior management.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for preparing a monthly standard warranty reserve reconciliationServe as key business partner working directly with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial resultsPerform actual to forecast analysis as part of month-end close and record accrual journal entriesExplain accounting and finance principles to non-finance business partners in a simple and straightforward mannerDrive proactive ad-hoc financial analysis by identifying what information is needed, where the data can be found and how it should be compiled, analyzed & presentedActively participate in special projects utilizing analytical skills to make recommendationsSupport PACCAR's quarterly external 10Q, annual 10K and 11K processesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related field required5+ years of work experience with Financial Analysis, reserve and expense analysisPreferred Qualifications:MBA or MS in Finance or related fieldExperience with SQL and data visualization tools such as TableauExperience with SAPAdvanced analytical and Excel modeling skillsStrong interpersonal skills including written and oral communicationAbility to effectively work with a variety of departments, management levels, cultures, and personalitiesAbility to handle multiple priorities and take initiative to produce resultsAbility to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloadAbility to work independently and self-motivate, multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent follow through and attention to detail and accuracyGeneral Description of all Benefits:As a U.S. PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including: 401k with up to a 5% company match, fully funded pension plan that provides monthly benefits after retirement, comprehensive paid time off minimum of 10 paid vacation days (additional days are provided with additional seniority/years of service), 12 paid holidays, and sick time, tuition reimbursement for continued education, medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family, flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings account (HSA), paid short-and long-term disability programs, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, EAP services including wellness plans, estate planning, financial counseling and more.
