In each of our regions, we are the best in radiology, offering all radiology services!\nJob Summary:\nUnder general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Computerized Tomography Technologist will perform all required diagnostic computerized axial tomography (CAT) scanning procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent, high-quality examinations.\nEssential Functions of a CT Technologist:\nPerforms all required diagnostic CT exams in a timely manner.\nPositions patients for exams, ensuring comfortable and accurate positioning.\nAssembles the X-ray film, CT scans, and other necessary diagnostic information in its proper order for the physician’s interpretation.\nMonitors the condition of patients in the department and assists the radiologist or other physicians in performing needed medical attention.\nPerforms clerical work related to the obtaining of previous reports, X-ray films, etc.\nMaintains scanning equipment and ensure room is properly cleaned.\nAssures that all exams include accurate clinical and demographic information and high quality, complete images.\nReports any hazardous conditions or equipment breakdowns to the responsible supervisor.\nWork as part of a team to assist radiologists, fellow technologists and office staff as needed\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nPossesses a skilled level and working knowledge of CT scanning technology.\nCompetency in instructing fellow CT Technologists in the art of scanning.\nAbility to communicate with radiologists and other healthcare providers about images and patient care.\nDemonstrates skill and knowledge to identify abnormalities while performing CT scans.\nInitiative to obtain additional scans, views, or extremely technical factors to provide maximum information for the radiologist to make an accurate diagnosis.\nMaintain sensitivity to physical and psychological needs of patients\nMaintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA guidelines.\nEducation and Experience:\nARRT Certification\nCPR/ BLS Certification\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\nWork generally does not involve occupational risk; however, failure to follow established procedures and safety practices could result in minor injury, e.g., minor cuts, needle punctures, bruises from falls on slippery floors, or back injuries sustained while assisting in moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials.\nWhat We Offer:\nPTO for full-time employees\n6 Observed Holidays\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Life and other voluntary insurances\n401(k) Retirement Plan\nEmployee Assistance Program\nRezolut Academy, a career pathways program to help further your career\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nFull-time\nOnsite\n\nAt Rezolut, compensation offers are determined based on the specific circumstances of each role and candidate.
