Skilled in conducting patient assessments, implementing therapeutic interventions, and assisting individuals in improving motor skills, coordination, and daily functional abilities. Proficient in educating patients on the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices, monitoring progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, comprehensive patient care.QualificationsRequiredCertification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in CTKnowledge of occupational health, physiology, and anatomyExperience working with Geriatric patients is preferredFamiliarity with medical terminology and medical imaging techniquesAbility to drive to multiple patients homePreferredExperience in home health or rehabilitation settingsExperience working with geriatric or post-acute care patientsStrong documentation and patient education skillsCOTA What You’ll DoProvide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of an Occupational TherapistAssist in the development and implementation of treatment plansConduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' needs and goalsAdminister therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilitiesTeach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devicesMonitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessaryCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patientsCompensationHourly Rate $30 - $40 an hourApply Today!
