Materials Handler - 3rd shift

Materials HandlerA Materials Handler is responsible for supplying raw material to the press and daily changeovers.Duties and responsibilities:Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.Responsible for material change overs at the molding machineResponsible for maintaining and cleaning dryers, grinders and raw material areaMaintain and correctly label the raw materialsAssist production team on housekeeping of plant floorOperates forklift, pallet truck and other associated material handling equipment.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to work in team environment and maintain positive attitudeAbility to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and proceduresGood attention to detailMust be a self-starter and highly motivatedAbility to plan and organize their scheduleWorking conditions:Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required.Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when requiredPhysical requirements:Standing for long periods of timeMust be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 1500 pounds with an assist.Must be able to frequently reach, bend, kneel, squat and climb.
