{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d5da9ce7bb4847f398a9ad9c","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d5da9ce7bb4847f398a9ad9c","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d5da9ce7bb4847f398a9ad9c","title":"Facilities Engineer","description":"The Opportunity:The Engineer – Facilities responsibilities will include:- Maintaining and updating existing plant layouts- Designing future layout improvements based on Manufacturing requirements- Managing various projects including:o Infrastructure system improvementso Building demolitionso Manufacturing cell relocationso Future expansion site planningo Installation/relocation of machines- Coordinating various contractors performing work on site, and communicating project goals and expectations- Coordinating inspections and preventative maintenance of building life-safety systems and other various equipment- Overseeing handling and disposal of chemicals and waste, both hazardous and non-hazardouso Assist in EPA audits and internal record keeping, ensuring company compliance- Working closely with executive leadership and other functional groups to maintain schedule and budget- Utilization of MS Office tools to present and track project status- Other technical, physical, and administrative duties as requiredQualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering- An in-depth understanding of building infrastructure systems (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing).- Proficient with CAD and drafting software such as AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Siemens NX is a plus- Strong ability to read and interpret building drawings and machine specifications at an advanced level- Excellent time management and organizational skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint).- U.S. citizenship is required- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
