This position is located in the National Capital Region (NCR).\n\nYou’ll be a great fit for this role if:\nYou bring deep analytic tradecraft and can operate effectively in ambiguous environments.\nYou’re skilled at distilling complex intelligence into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.\nYou excel at cross-domain synthesis—connecting operational, technical, and strategic perspectives.\nYou thrive in a badgeless environment and build trusted relationships with government counterparts.\nYou confidently coordinate across Services, Joint Staff, COCOMs, and intelligence agencies.\n\nResponsibilities:\nThe successful candidate will provide intelligence analysis to support campaign analysis, modeling, and capability assessments.\nYour essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:\nServe as a senior All‑Source intelligence SME, supporting assessments across air, land, maritime, cyber, space, ISR, and EW domains.\nConduct analysis of adversary capabilities, intentions, doctrine, and emerging trends.\nIntegrate multi‑INT streams (e.g., SIGINT, GEOINT, MASINT, HUMINT) into coherent assessments.\nProvide threat characterization and red‑force inputs to mission engineering, campaign modeling, wargaming, and capability evaluations.\nDevelop analytic products informing senior DoD leaders on strategic, operational, and technical decision points.\nSupport scenario development, background documentation, threat laydowns, order-of-battle (OOB) refinement, and analytic baselines.\nAssess foreign military modernization pathways, operational concepts, and technology adoption.\nCoordinate with Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, military services, and intelligence agencies.\nProvide timely, classified-level decision support during rapid-turn analysis cycles.\nBrief senior partners on intelligence insights, threat trends, and analytic findings.\nEnsure analytic rigor, transparency, and defensibility across all outputs.\nApply tradecraft standards aligned with DNI, DIA, and Service intelligence organizations.\n\nQualifications Required:\n15+ years of All‑Source intelligence experience supporting DoD, IC, Joint Staff, COCOMs, or Service-level analysis.\nDemonstrated expertise producing finished intelligence, operational-level assessments, and senior decision support.\nSignificant experience integrating multi‑INT sources into threat assessments or operational analysis.\nExperience supporting R&D programs, mission engineering, wargaming, technical analyses, or capability evaluations.\nProven ability to collaborate across classified programs and high-tempo analytic environments.\nStrong briefing skills with experience delivering products to senior DoD or IC leadership.\nExperience supporting planning, campaign analysis, or advanced capability development (highly preferred).\n\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline (required)\nMaster's degree in a scientific or technical discipline (preferred)\n\nClearance Requirements:\nAn active Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP/CAP eligibility) is required.\n\nThe pay range for this position is $180,000/year to $210,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
