Your team will provide seamless service delivery and support across the organization, regardless of the location. This includes administrative and IT support for core business functions as well as program based support for technical and special projects.\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nProvide overall program and project management for delivery of IT support services\nActing as prime technical / managerial POC for all Customer interface and communication on Program\nResponsible for overall Customer satisfaction.\nPossess a deep understanding of IT Infrastructure and Support Services and ensure GDIT is meeting and exceeding Customer expectations.\nSupervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate managers, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.\nDirects program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.\nResponsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned programs.\nAssures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.\nPerforms program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.\nCoordinates and monitors subcontractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances.\nDevelops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.\nPrepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.\nEnsures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nRequired:\nProgram Management Professionals (PMP) or equivalent certification.\nB.S. or B.A. in relevant field plus 15 years of professional experience or equivalent\n8+ years of experience managing large IT Operations and Maintenance contracts.\nDemonstrated knowledge of the most current ITIL standards; ITIL certification will be required within 3 months of hire, if not already held.\nKnowledge of standard industry methodologies best practices such as PMBOK, Lean IT, Agile, and DevSecOps.\nExperience with development and delivery of service management across multiple IT specialties\nExperience in project management, budget, and forecasting toolsets.\nDemonstrated experience leading and managing large teams (>50)\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills\nPreferred:\nMS in relevant field and 10 years of professional experience\nExperience supporting IT requirements for scientific research programs\nFamiliarity with IT requirements and service delivery for health research or healthcare delivery\nProfessional experience in an entrepreneurial, startup environment\nExperience with Health and Human Services (HHS) Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC)\nLocation: Hybrid, Located in Bethesda, MD\nTimeline: This is a contingent posting, expected to start towards the end of the 2026.\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\nFull-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home\n401K with company match\nComprehensive health and wellness packages\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications\nCutting-edge technology you can learn from\nRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays\nWork Requirements\nYears of Experience\n15 + years of related experience\nmay vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree\nCertification\nTravel Required\nNone\nSalary and Benefit Information\nThe likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278.
