Operator","description":"JOB DESCRIPTION\nLoader Operator\nShift: Day Shift\nResponsibilities:\nCommunicates effectively with delivery drivers to ensure proper unloading procedures are safely executed\nPerform and record daily maintenance of loaders which includes lubrication, fueling and cleaning machines.\nCommunicate to maintenance any areas where the loader isn’t operating properly.\nIdentify and mark materials, products and samples, following instructions.\nOperate wheel loader in a safe manner by understanding levers and controls.\nLoad materials into machines or onto conveyors ensuring safety procedures are followed.\nTransfer materials and products to and from areas around the mill according to delivery timeframes.\nTag or stamp, measure and record measurements for shipment to ensure conformance to customer requirements.\nEvaluate log characteristics and determine grades, using established criteria.\nIdentify logs of substandard or special grade so they can be transferred for other processing.\nWork to provide sufficient raw materials/logs to the mill for operations.\nCommunicate with coworkers by using signals to direct log movement.\nKeep the wood yard graded as needed to ensure efficient operations.\nAssist to ensure all wood meets BTC wood quality standards and specifications including visual and physical inspections.\nBe able to lift 50 pounds.\nFollow all operational safety standards.\nUnderstand how to visually inspect logs at a fast pace.\nLoading rail cars and containers\nLoad and unload wood\nInspect product load for
