We offer growth opportunities for career track progression and ongoing professional development.\n\nThe Role\nAs an Elevo Coach, you will:\nLead K–8 students through structed, engaging activities and sports using Elevo’s curriculum\nManage group dynamics and support positive student behavior\nPartner with school staff and fellow coaches to create a welcoming program environment\nShow up consistently as a role model who helps students build confidence and social skills\nMaintain attendance tracking and daily program documentation in the absence of the Site Lead\nSupport the Site Lead with daily prep of materials/supplies for program staff\nCollaborate with Site Lead to support program goals. (Daily check-in with SL)\nEffectively communicate with staff, parents, school personnel and students regarding program\nAssist with providing support, training and guidance to staff regarding program/lesson implementation.\nParticipate on school site committees as directed.\nAttend site and district program meetings and professional development\nFacilitate daily student sign-in/out for program\nEnsure health and safety protocols are followed\nSupport staff in management of student behavior\nSupport program as needed in the absence of staff\nSupport site shut down procedures\nMaintain timely, regular, and consistent attendance at work.\nMay travel to different program locations within the District as directed.\nOther duties as assigned to support the operation of program\nFacilitate daily operations, policies and procedures of program in the absence of the Site Lead\nAttendance (taken on sign-in/out sheet)\nMaintain site cell phone communication in the absence of Site Lead\nAbout You\nExperience coaching, playing sports, working in education, or leading youth in any setting (e.g., camp counseling, youth programs, childcare)\nLead by example as a confident, positive role model students want to follow\nBring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students’ attention\nStay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment\nBuild trust quickly with students, families, and school staff\nRun activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift\nCollaborate with fellow coaches and school partners\nMotivated by Elevo’s mission to support student well-being\nAdditional Requirements\nEligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening\n18+ with high school diploma or GED\nMust have 48 college credits or be willing to take the Instructional Aid (IA) exam\nPhysical Requirements\nCandidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without a reasonable accommodation:\nAbility to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently\nSitting or standing for long periods\nOccasional running and other strenuous physical activity\nAbility to move safely on irregular and/or uneven terrain on a regular basis\n\nElevo is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
