The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role includes managing tax compliance deadlines, researching complex tax issues, and advising clients on tax planning opportunities. The Senior Tax Accountant will analyze financial information, assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, and collaborate with team members to resolve client inquiries. QualificationsStrong tax-focused skills, including Tax, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation.Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices, including experience with Financial Statements.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license or active candidacy strongly preferred, EA okay. Several years of recent public accounting experience in tax.Proficiency with tax preparation and accounting software, UltraTax preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues to clients clearly and professionally.Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
