Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.\n\nThis role can be based in one of the following office locations: Buffalo, NY | Syracuse, NY | Harrisburg, PA | King of Prussia, PA | Pittsburgh, PA | Hyannis, MA | Burlington, MA.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nKnowledge Management System: Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.\n\nProcess Design Engineering: Contribute to the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters.\n\nImprovement/Innovation: Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.\n\nEngineering Standards Specification: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.\n\nEngineering Inspections: Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.\n\nProduct and Solution Development: Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.\n\nProject Management: Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.\n\nPersonal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.\n\nContract Management: Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.\n\nEngineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions.\n\nClient & Customer Management (External): Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.\n\nWhat you’ll bring to the team\n\nDegree in AutoCAD design, Engineering, Architecture, or related field\n\nMinimum of 10 years of managing information for various phases of multidiscipline projects\n\nExperience in at least one of the following project roles: BIM coordination, document management or engineering design\n\nExperience in 3D modeling, Model Setup, Management and troubleshooting, multidiscipline coordination\n\nProficiency in the following:\n\nBIM Collaboration tools e.g. (ACC, ProjectWise, BIM 360)\n\nDesign authoring/review/automation tools e.g. (AutoDesk Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads)\n\nExcellent team leadership to lead a BIM team for design and production\n\nUnderstanding of 4D/5D BIM and ability to support DB project requirements\n\nAbility to interact with external entities to interpret and understand BIM/CAD requirements and BIM scope\n\nSalary Range\n$72,000 - $120,000 based on experience and location.\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nGHD is an equal opportunity employer.
