The right candidate will be committed to our mission and core values, bringing compassion and curiosity to their work with a highly collaborative team.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nContribute to the interior design process from programming through construction administration, developing design excellence on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.\nDevelop and articulate compelling design concepts through sketches, presentations, and material palettes that communicate a clear design narrative.\nDevelopselectionand specification of finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), ensuring integration with architectural design and performance goals.\nCollaborate closely with architects, clients, consultants, and contractors tomaintaindesign intent, quality, and project vision.\nMentor and inspire junior interior design staff, fostering creativity, curiosity, and professional growth.\nConsult with FF&E manufacturers in the research and evaluation of project materials and products.\nCoordinate consultant drawings (extent of responsibility will vary depending upon the characteristics of the project, its size and complexity, its design objectives and specific experience of the team).\nQualifications\nBachelor's orMaster's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.\n4-8 years of relevant professional experience, including interior design on complex projects.\nStrong conceptual design skills and a refined sense of materiality and spatial experience.\nExperience with workplace, higher education, cultural, or civic projects preferred.\nProficiencyin Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, andrenderingtools (Enscape or similar).\nNCIDQ certification and/or professional licensure.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.\nStrong 3D visualization skills.\nSubstantialknowledge of building materials, product specification,installationand construction methods as they relate to areas of specialty.\nGeneral knowledge of product cost, material vs. install, and building codes in reference but not limited to ADA.\nAbility toanticipate,identifyand resolve problems ina timelyand positive manner.\nAbility to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.\nWhat We Offer\nEHDD is an award-winning, majority woman-owned firm providing architecture, interiors, planning, and urban design services.
