{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d5b39655184f3706b1d0dae8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d5b39655184f3706b1d0dae8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d5b39655184f3706b1d0dae8","title":"Integration Developer","description":"Overview:\n\nThe Integration Developer builds, tests, and documents API, data, and service integrations for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Product Delivery Services (PDS), Benefits and Memorials (BAM), Memorial and Benefit Services (MBS) deliver secure, reliable, and effective Information Technology (IT) solutions that support the Department’s mission.\n\nResponsibilities:\nSupports modernization by enabling data exchange, contributing to migration activities, and ensuring that integrations are properly configured, validated, and documented in alignment with VA technical, security, and architecture standards\nBuild, test, and document API and data integrations between VA‑EISS, BOSS‑E, MBMS, and external VA business systems.\nSupport ETL/ELT processes, legacy‑to‑modern system transitions, and integration of internal/external data sources.\nDevelop scripts for data migrations, environment configuration, and interface implementation\nConfigure integrations across development, test, staging, and production environments, ensuring consistency and proper setup\nEnsure all integrations are tested in VA‑approved environments at the unit, functional, and integration levels before release.\nSupport UAT, IV&V, and ISQA testing by providing required integration‐specific data and configuration artifacts.\nQualifications:\n\nRequired:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in computer science or an IT-related degree with 7-10 years' experience\nExperience supporting ETL/ELT, legacy‑to‑cloud migrations, and cross‑system data exchange.\nExperience documenting integration configurations, environment setups, and validation procedures.\nExperience supporting integration testing across unit, functional, system, and performance test cycles.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments and contributing to Sprint deliverables\nKnowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SOAP (if applicable), message queues, and microservice integration patterns.\nExperience with ETL/ELT tools, database scripting (DDL/DML), and data transformation techniques.\nPublic Trust\n\nPreferred:\n\nUse of Java, Node.js, React, Ruby/Rails; Oracle; .NET\n\nCompany Overview:\n\nIntegral partners with federal defense, intelligence, and civilian leaders to tackle their most important challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
