Engineer Associate II - Road & Bridge

JOB Reporting directly to an assigned Engineer, responsible for providing technical civil engineering assistance to support various engineering projects for the Williamson County Department of Infrastructure. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES All engineering analysis and design activities will be performed under the supervision of a Texas Professional EngineerProvides civil engineering designs for street and drainage improvements Produces detailed engineering drawings and reports to support activities associated with street and drainage construction and/or improvementsProduces hydrologic / hydraulic studies that include flood plain analysis, detention pond and storm sewer design / analysis and culvert / bridge analysisProvides engineering review of subdivision plats, construction plans and site development plans to ascertain their compliance with the County’s Subdivision RegulationsProvides information to the public regarding development processes and permitsAssists and answers questions from field crews and inspectors related to street and drainage construction activitiesCommunicates with other county employees, external agencies, and the general public.
