Operations Manager - Life InsuranceWe are partnering with a privately held, rapidly expanding financial services organization in the life insurance space seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize core operational functions across domestic and international markets. The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, compliance, and scalability of day-to-day operations. This individual will oversee workflows across policy administration, claims, underwriting support, and reinsurance coordination—while driving process improvements and supporting cross-functional initiatives. This is a highly dynamic role where no two days look the same. Success requires strong operational expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to navigate both strategic initiatives and hands-on execution!Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations including policy issuance, claims processing, premium collection, and administrationDesign, implement, and optimize operational workflows and standard operating proceduresEnsure adherence to U.S. and international regulatory and compliance standardsPartner with Legal and Compliance on evolving regulatory requirementsIdentify operational risks and implement controls to mitigate exposureDevelop and present performance reporting, KPIs, and operational metrics to upper managementLead, mentor, and develop operational staffManage relationships with external partners, brokers, and vendorsRequirements:Over 5 years of experience in life insurance operations, administration, or related leadership rolesStrong understanding of: Life insurance products and policy lifecycle, Regulatory and compliance frameworks, Claims, underwriting, and reinsurance processesProven experience managing cross-functional operations and process improvement initiativesStrong analytical and reporting capabilities (KPIs, performance metrics, operational insights)Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (advanced degree preferred)Perks:Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with employer matchPaid time off + holidaysProfessional development support - endless room for growthFriday: Half-day scheduleGenerous relocation support is offered to ensure a smooth transition, including temporary housing and moving assistance.
