Practice Coordinator

Description: Job Summary The Practice Coordinator is responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations of the practice are consistent with organizational standards and meet the requirements to provide exceptional patient care. This position directly supports the Practice manager to ensure successful implementation of updated policies and procedures at the practice level as well as ensure compliance with DermDox, State and Federal Regulations. Essential Functions: Collaborate with providers and practice support staff to develop and assess new efficiencies to support the successful growth of assigned practice. Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring schedules are appropriate and the office is ready for business each morning. Monitor practice inventory and place orders for resupply when appropriate Interact with patients and address any concerns or complaints Work as a team to ensure the practice runs effectively and meets objectives Serve as primary point of contact for all practice staff, providing training and guidance when necessary Collaborate with providers to ensure optimal use of resources and resolve any operational issues Assist in the onboarding of new staff Support with staff meetings, team morale events and liaising with leadership Supports with coverage-Medical Assistant, Front Desk Associate or Call Center Representative as/if needed due to patient volume, staff vacancies or PTO Other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ yeas of medical assistant experience required, preferably in the dermatology space Leadership experience, preferably in the healthcare industry Thorough understanding of medical front office operations Knowledge of patient protocols, procedures, regulations and standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with ModMed/EMA is a plus
