We partner with institutions on projects including:\n\nModernization and expansion of facilities\nInfrastructure improvements for safety and sustainability\nDevelopment of specialized spaces such as laboratories, research centers, and classrooms.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the Project Manager ensuring that the project stays on time and within budget\nResponsible for administrative and technical oversight on project site.\nResponsible for the preparation, editing and/or distribution of project specific project status reports to the owner.\nResponsible for oversight for adherence to cost and schedule\nResponsible for identification of work for consistency with plans & specifications and contract documents.\nResponsible for the preparation and editing of various project documents and reports\nDevelop and distribute timely meeting agendas and minutes\nAssist with the resolution of project matters/issues.\nAssist with the management of documentation, document control and filing, meeting agendas and minutes, RFIs, , submittals, change orders, reporting, and progress payments\nWorks under the supervision of the Project/Construction Manager.\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\n• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a similar role or position in construction.\n• BS/BA Degree in construction, engineering, or architecture. Four years of additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum years stated above may be substituted for the required education.\n• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and SharePoint.\n• Experience using BlueBeam and Adobe software for document reviews/mark-ups.\n• Ability to work in a team environment.\n• Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions.\n• Effectively manage daily work effort.\n• Good communication skills verbal and writing.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n• Previous experience with Change Orders and Supporting Documentation.\n• Previous experience with educational projects.\n• Experience working on a large client program;\n• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.\n• Experience with Prolog, Trimble Unity Construct (formerly e-Builder), Proliance or other PMIS systems.\n• Experience with Adobe Acrobat sign (formerly Adobe E-Sign).\n\nAbout Harris\nHarris & Associates is a 100% employee-owned company focused on solving today's complex challenges in the planning, designing, and constructing of public infrastructure.
