This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nSetup parts, create programs using Mastercam software and setup electrodes to operate sinker and wire EDM machines.\nCreate programs to finish core and cavity detail as discussed during job meetings.\nMust be able to operate supporting equipment; surface grinders, hole popper, cutoff saw, etc..\nPerform weekly required machine maintenance.\nMaximize machine utilization and program for unattended machine operation for off shift machine run time.\nAbility to inspect machined electrodes utilizing precision measuring equipment or interpret CMM reports for electrodes.\nFile documents and programs in appropriate file storage system.\nOther Functions\n\nMaintain a clean and safe work area.\nPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors.\nKey Competencies\n\nAbility to create wire edm programs using Mastercam software.\nAbility to setup machine to hold tolerances of +/-.0005”.\nKnowledge of plastic injection molds and tolerances associated with features of molds.\nMust be knowledgeable with computer to archive programs under correct job folders.\nUnderstanding of best practices for creating wire edm and sinker edm programs for efficient material removal.\nQualifications (skills, knowledge, experience)\n\nMinimum of 5 years operating and programming EDM machines for plastic injection molds.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nCAM programming software experience, preference Mastercam.\nSkilled use of precision measuring equipment.\nMust have good problem solving skills and be detail oriented.\nMust be able to follow written and verbal instructions.\nExcellent computer skills including Microsoft software.\nMust be able to lift, push, and pull up to (50) lbs\n#LI-KN1 #LI-Onsite\n\nBy applying for a position with HellermannTyton, you understand that should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check through the use of our 3rd party supplier.
