Hours are Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.\r\nJOB SUMMARY\r\nThe Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.\r\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\r\n* Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines\r\n* Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.\r\n* Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)\r\n* Perform daily cycle counts\r\n* Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training\r\n* May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries\r\n* Other duties as assigned\r\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\r\nEducation/Experience:\r\n* High school diploma or equivalent\r\n* Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilities of the position)\r\nTechnical Skills:\r\n* Data base user interface and query software\r\n* Electronic mail software\r\n* Enterprise resource planning ERP software\r\n* Inventory management software\r\n* Spreadsheet software\r\n* Label making software\r\n* Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software\r\nWork Environment:\r\n* Manufacturing environment\r\n* Time Pressure\r\n* Operating a forklift, pallet jack and/or manlift operator\r\n* Standing for long periods of time\r\n* Lifting heavy (typically 30 lbs) items\r\nELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS\r\n* As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.\r\n* An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis.\r\nSalary is $18.46 - $24.97 per hour, dependant on experience.
