Job Details:Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high levels of production, quality, and yield while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role oversees daily operations on the production floor, ensuring processes run smoothly, staffing is optimized, and all safety and quality standards are met.Key ResponsibilitiesReview daily production orders to ensure customer requirements are metEnsure all positions are properly staffed prior to production start‑upOversee production processes to maintain efficiency, quality, and yieldMonitor equipment performance and coordinate basic line maintenanceLead team warm‑ups, job rotations, and ergonomic practicesEnsure all workstations pass USDA inspection requirementsPromote and enforce safety standards; participate in monthly safety meetingsEnsure accurate product coding, inventory rotation, and shipmentsMaintain accurate production and quality records, including rework and returnsProvide training, coaching, and support to team membersAddress employee performance, attendance, and workplace concernsCommunicate company policies, benefits, and expectations to employeesCollaborate with other supervisors to resolve operational issuesSupport continuous improvement and reinforce quality and safety standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma required; additional education or training preferredPrior supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skillsAbility to lead, motivate, and develop a teamWork Schedule & TravelShift: 2nd Shift (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM)Travel: Occasionally required (1–5 trips per year)Relocation Assistance Eligible:YesWork Shift:2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
