Our flexible culture allows our professionals to live a balanced lifestyle between their work responsibilities and personal commitments.\n\nYou have (requirements):\nBS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.\n4+ years’ experience in public accounting in a variety of industries including life sciences, technology, Blockchain, construction, manufacturing, and/or consumer products/retail; SEC experience is a plus.\nCPA certification or CPA in progress preferred.\nExperience auditing complex accounts such as inventory, revenue, equity/stock options, etc.\nDemonstrated leadership experience.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nStrong desire to continuously learn.\nCompetently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations.\nAbility to synthesize all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables.\nUnderstands client needs, identifies root causes of problems, and implements pragmatic solutions.\nAbility to manage audit engagements from start to finish, working directly with clients to ensure successful completion and client satisfaction.\n\nYou will (job responsibilities):\nResponsible for day-to-day planning and execution of multiple client engagements throughout the year.\nSupervise associate level professionals and delegate engagement responsibilities.\nResponsible for communicating and resolving all issues that arise during the audit engagement with the support of the engagement manager.\nDevelop and execute audit strategy from planning to reporting.\nDevelop and maintain client relationships, thus driving client satisfaction.\nResearch, understand and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.\nDraft financials and report audit findings (both verbal and written).\nDevelop, motivate and mentor associates by providing training, regular feedback and career guidance while fostering a team environment.\nChampion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote-first operations, promoting paperless workflows through digital collaboration tools, participating in recycling initiatives to minimize paper use, and consistently demonstrate alignment with BPM’s values.\n$95,000-$125,000/year\nThe salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.
