You will be a part of the team responsible for ECLSS and Crew Systems on Blue Origin’s crewed Lunar Lander vehicle.\nThis role will directly impact the history of space exploration, and your dedicated commitment and detailed attention will further the cause of safe and repeatable spaceflight. Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.\nResponsibilities:\nOwn the development and qualification of software applications for environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS).\nOwn formal validation and verification of ECLSS software applications.\nSupport ECLSS model maturity, qualification, validation efforts with the ECLS subsystem team.\nSupport ECLSS component testing as the flight software representative including hardware/software integration and ensuring tests meet flight software requirements.\nSupport development and verification of other various crew systems on the human rated Lunar Lander.\nMaintain requirements, support architecture and interface definition for ECLSS or Crew Systems software components.\nSupport internal or customer design review.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum of BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n7+ years of experience software development, verification, and validation.\nSoftware development skills in all or several programming languages including C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python.\nExperience with real-time systems and embedded software.\nExperience with autonomy or controls flight software applications.\nSelf-starting who thrives in a fast-paced new product development environment.\nDesired:\nMS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\nDomain knowledge of ECLSS systems or Crew Systems autonomy applications.\nDetailed knowledge of DO-178C and/or NASA NPR 7150.2\nExperience with integrated 6DoF or closed loop autonomy simulation environments.\nExpertise with Embedded Linux or equivalent real-time operating systems.\nExperience with board bring up, and comfortable with hardware interfaces and communications protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, RS-485, etc.).\n\nBase Pay Range for:\nCO applicants is $150,931.00 - $211,303.05\nWA applicants is $164,652.00 - $230,512.80\nOther site ranges may differ\n\nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
