Be a part of our Ledcor team and build a rewarding career with us!\n\nApply today and start your career at Borealis Mine located south west of Hawthorne NV.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nSupport mining operations by performing various tasks on the labor crew\nComplete production reporting and other required documentation\nCommunicate effectively and professionally with team members\nLead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures\nQualifications:\nPrevious mining experience is preferred but not required\nAwareness and understanding of mining safety and MSHA policies (preferred not required)\nCurrent MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred (training will be provided if needed)\nAbility to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test\nWork Conditions:\nVarying shift rotation working 10 to 12 hours per day\nOvertime rates apply after 40 hours worked per week\nSite based position with the opportunity for long term employment\nLiving out allowance provided for every day worked\nHealth & wellness benefits provided along with 401K matching\nAdditional Information\nLedcor Heavy Civil and Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
