Mentor and collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to successfully deliver business and operational functionality for internal and external users. A team player and work well with business, technical and non-technical professionals in an agile environment.\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.\nYou’ll be working alongside experts that are building OCC’s next generation Clearing system, and paving the future of digital transformation in the capital markets industry by\nCollaborating with others to deliver complex projects which may involve multiple systems\nContinuously thinking about the next steps while improving yourself and others around you\nManage distributed development team, collaborate, and coordinate with vendors\nDeveloping solutions to complex technical challenges while coding, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and documenting the systems you develop\nLead the efforts to optimize application performance and resilience through analysis, code refactoring, and system tuning\nRecommending architectural changes and new technologies and tools that improve the efficiency and quality of OCC’s systems and development processes.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nBuild and manage a team of skilled software developers\nQualifications:\nThe requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience preferred with AWS foundational services like VPCs, Security groups, EC2, RDS, S3 ACLs, KMS, AWS CLI and IAM etc.\nExperience with testing frameworks like Junit, Citrus is desirable.\nExperience working with various types of databases like Relational, NoSQL, Object-based, Graph.\nExperience following Git workflows is required.\nWorking knowledge of DevOps tools.
