The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills\n\n What You will Do:\n\nEstimate, plan, and implement applications in Java or Python or Go\nWork closely with stakeholders to gather requirements to build new modules or improve existing modules.\nEvaluate, maintain and improve existing code base to ensure that it is properly structured and utilize software engineering best practices.\nTroubleshoot, identify, and research reported issues, and have the ability to provide recommendations by comparing advantages and disadvantages of various solutions.\nStay on top of new technologies and tools, and adopt relevant ones to the team.\nParticipate in peer reviews, learn and apply software engineering best practices to your work.\nAccountable for meeting assigned project objectives and timelines.\nHands-on Kubernetes experience\nHands-on AWS experience\nDatabases and middleware — Postgres, Kafka, Redis\nBig data stack — data warehousing, MPP, Spark, Flink\nMicro-service architecture and service mesh\nUI development experience\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\n\n3+ years of software development experience\nStrong command of at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go\nExperience in backend development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development\nFamiliarity with container technologies such as Docker and containerd\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or CodeDeploy\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams\n\nPay Range: $100,000-$115,000 per annum\n\nCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
