Amory School DistrictJOB DescriptionTITLECareer & Technical Center DirectorPOSITION TYPEExemptPRIMARY FUNCTIONTo support the Mission and Beliefs of the District when carrying out duties and responsiblities as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducator License with an administration endorsement issued by the Mississippi Department of EducationPreferred - 3 years administration experiencePreferred CTC ExperienceREPORTS TOSuperintendentPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister all building affairs.Supervises implentations of curriculum, goals and objectives of school and district, Board of Education policies, and state and federal regulations.Provide a systematic method of data collection and utilazation of data to improve student achievement and reduce discipline breachesMake formal and informal visits to classroom teachers to determine if daily lesson plans are in use as developedProvide specific training activities to help teachers effectively address student achievement and student disiclpline weakness/problem areas.Supervise implementation and evaluation of school-based programs, including staffing and placement of students into programs.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT232 days per year Salary according to School Board Pay ScheduleEVALUATIONPerformance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with School Board policy and administrative regulations on the evaluation of licensed personnel.DAYS WORKED 232
